We ask information with can, could, will and would, in the form of a yes/ne question sentence. Study the following chart.

Example 1:

Ima      : Excuse me, could you give me a few direction. I am lost way.

Era       : Yes, of course. What can I do for you?

Ima      : How can I get the elevator around the market?

Ima      : Oh, thank you very much.

Era       : You’re welcome

Example 2:

Ana      : Excuse me, I’m sorry to interrupt you, can you tell me where the post office is?

Mia      : Never mind, you just go down this street, and it will be on the first right turn                              beside the bus stop.
